The
J-Series
delivers an up to 20 amp circuit breaker with a 10,000 amp maximum interrupting capacity in a compact size. While measuring only 2.13 inches [54.10mm] in depth and 2.25 inches [57.15mm] in height, the performance capabilities of this low profile circuit breaker make it ideally suited for high power density applications. Performance is highlighted by an enhanced arc chamber where arc splitter retainers, combined with integrated pressurizing walls, facilitate cooling through the use of magnetically induced splitter plates. The result is a breaker that ensures rapid tripping and cooling to prevent serious equipment damage and fire. This up to 20 amp circuit breaker is configurable as a one to three pole breaker with handle, flat or curved rocker style actuators and offers multiple terminal options.
The
CX-Series
hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers employ a patented magnetic flux boosting terminal configuration to offer rapid cooling and superior performance for high amperage and high DC voltage applications. Compact in size, the CX-Series is available as a one pole breaker rated up to 125 amps, as a two to four pole breaker rated up to 115 amps, and as a disconnect option with additional amperage and pole configuration options. Maximum voltage capacity of 600VDC and 10,000 amps max IC.
Compact yet robust, the
C-Series
hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker is designed for high amperage and voltage applications. C-Series breakers are available as a one to six pole configuration and are rated up to 100 amps, 480VAC/80VDC or 240VAC/125VDC for UL 489 configurations. Parallel pole options offer ratings from 100-250 amps. The C-Series employs a unique arc chute design which allows for higher interrupting capacities of up to 10,000 amps. L-Series: Space saving breaker capable of sensing current down to a level of one percent with max interrupting capacities of 5,000A for UL and 10,000A for TUV.
The largest breaker in Carling’s portfolio, the
F-Series
is designed to safely handle high current applications, accommodating current ratings from 100 to 700 amps. Rated at 125VDC, the F-Series is widely used as a battery disconnect for contingency power. An optional 25 millivolt metering shunt offers a safe and effective way to monitor the current flowing through the breaker. Simply connect a meter with a light gauge wire to the appropriate terminals on the rear shunt housing to measure percent of current, watts or safe/danger zones. This feature is ideal for the telecom industry where monitoring of customer usage is often required. The F-Series is available as a one to three pole breaker with handle actuator and offers rear or front panel mounting.
The
M-Series
miniature circuit breakers offer high performance in a compact design, complete with front panel snap-in or bushing mounting as well as a vertically mounted parallel pole configuration. These miniature circuit breakers offer several agency approvals and are available with multiple design choices to meet the needs of almost any application, including 16 different time delays, 5 terminal styles, a variety of panel hardware, multiple color options and legend imprinting. The M-Series also features a choice of actuators that include flat or angled rockers with or without illumination, a two color Visi Rocker®, paddle, baton, push-pull or push-to-reset. Our exclusive Rockerguard protects against inadvertent actuation and wiping contacts assure long-term reliability of these miniature circuit breakers. The M-Series is available as a one to two or parallel pole breaker.
The
A-Series
are designed for precise operation across a broad range of general purpose and full amp load applications. The compact size can be complemented by either a Visi Rocker® or recessed paddle actuator when front panel operation requires a clean design. The sealed metal toggle configuration is ideal for harsh environment applications. Adding to the breaker’s safety features are options for the exclusive Rockerguard and/or push-to- reset bezels for rocker actuated configurations. This up to 50 amp breaker is configurable as one to six poles with handle actuators and one to three poles with sealed toggle, rocker or recessed paddle actuators.
