Honeywell SS461A Hall Effect Sensor features Quad-Hall IC design that helps minimize mechanical stress effects. SS461A has temperature-compensated magnetics, which allow stable operations over a wide range of temperatures from -40 °C to 150 °C.
This Honeywell sensor is used in diverse industrial, transportation and medical applications like speed and RPM sensing, robotics control, motor and fan control, tachometer, electronic window lift, convertible roof position, and medical equipment, by using electric motors. Hall effect sensors are triggered by a magnetic field and operate as analog transducers to return the required voltage directly. These sensors vary their output voltage in response to a magnetic field.
