RoHS compliant, Honeywell SS494B Sensor features embedded thin-film resistors and laser, which is trimmed for precise sensitivity and temperature compensation. SS494B is generally used for a wide range of tasks including weight sensing, vibration sensing, liquid level sensing, motor control, position sensing, magnetic code reading, and rotary encoders, among others.
The rail-to-rail operation in this Honeywell sensor tracks useable signal for better accuracy and responds to either positive or negative gauss. This device is compact and consumes optimum power. Hall Effect sensors are triggered by a magnetic field and operate as analog transducers to provide a voltage directly. They vary in terms of output voltage in response to the magnetic field.
