Santa Monica, CA – April 6, 2015 – Master Electronics, a leading distributor of electromechanical, interconnect, and passive components, today announced the hire of industry veteran, Nancy Bateman-Kocsis.   Often referred to simply as “Bateman” to her colleagues, clients and friends, Nancy has represented some of the biggest publishing names in the high-tech media world for nearly 25 years.

Before moving to media sales in 1992, Nancy served for seven years in a creative capacity at a Beverly Hills advertising agency, and as the Marketing Communications Manager for a Los Angeles area display manufacturer.  From there, Nancy enjoyed sales and management positions, surviving six acquisitions involving Chilton, Capital Cities, Disney, Cahners Business Information, Reed Elsevier, Advantage Business Media and finally, SAE International.

In her new role, Bateman is tasked with streamlining the company’s message to a global audience as the company looks forward to its 50^th anniversary in 2017.  Nancy’s creativity and expertise will offer Master Electronics a new approach to reach engineering and procurement professionals.  Utilizing traditional tactics like print & digital media, non-traditional social and ambient media, as well as video and mobile messaging, Bateman plans to create an exciting environment for Master Electronics, and their suppliers, to connect with existing and future customers easier, faster, better.
