HoneywellHoneywell Magnets: MG Series, Sintered Alnico VIII cylinderical magnet for actuating Hall-effect sensors, North Pole indicated with red, 6,35 mm W x 6,35 mm Dia [0.25 in W x 0.25 in Dia] .. see full description
The 101MG7 Hall Effect Sensor from Honeywell has good stability over a wide operating temperature range. This Honeywell Sensor is used in door or lid closure detection in appliances and electronically controlled containers. Hall Effect Sensors are devices whose output signal is a magnetic field density function. They are activated by an external magnetic field and their outputs are available in linear and digital forms. The MG Series Magnets are designed to provide minimum magnetic fields at a specified distance. They come in various compact configurations and magnetic materials.
Potential applications of Honeywell Hall Effect Sensors include speed detection and current sensing. This Sensor Magnet is also used as a position sensor in hospital beds and medical equipment and as a medication bin monitor on portable drug carts.
