SS351AT
HoneywellMagnetic Hall-Effect Sensor ICs: SS351AT Series Digital Omnipolar Hall-Effect Sensor IC, Responds To Either North Pole or South Pole, 85 G at 25° C Operating Point, SOT23 Surface Mount, 3000 per Reel .. see full description
SS351AT Hall-Effect Sensor from Honeywell features a compact design with automated component placement. With a low voltage of 3 Vdc, it can help reduce power consumption. It has a built-in reverse polarity protection to protect the device from potential damage. This omnipolar hall-effect sensor also has a thermally balanced integrated circuit.
Hall effect sensors are triggered by a magnetic field and operate as analog transducers by returning a voltage directly. These sensors vary their output voltage in response to a magnetic field. Honeywell Hall-Effect Sensor SS351AT is used in a variety of commercial, industrial, and medical applications like speed and RPM sensing in fitness equipment, magnetic encoder for building access, printer head position sensing, flow rate sensing in industrial processes, displacement sensor in hospital beds and medical equipment.
Product Highlights:
- Low voltage 3 Vdc capability helps reduce power consumption
- Built-in reverse polarity protection protects the device from potential damage during installation
- Subminiature package size supplied on tape and reel allows for a compact design with automated component placement, helping to reduce manufacturing costs
- Simple activation from a North pole or a South pole and sensitive magnetics make this omnipolar product suitable in a variety of potential motion control, lid closure detection, and displacement sensing applications
