SS460S Hall Effect Sensor from Honeywell features bipolar latching magnetics, which makes it suitable for accurate speed sensing and RPM measurement. It is used in a variety of industrial, transportation and medical applications like speed and RPM sensing, robotics control, motor and fan control, tachometer, electronic window lift, convertible roof position, and medical equipment using electric motors.
This Honeywell SS460S has the fastest responding time in its class and provides better efficiency. Featuring no chopper stabilization, it delivers a clean output signal. These Hall Effect Honeywell sensors are triggered by a magnetic field and operate as analog transducers that directly return voltage. They have varying output voltages in response to a respective magnetic field.
